My Feelings Rock

emotional intelligence  feelings friday  mindfulness  positive parenting

By Alex Petrou

This week we talk about our emotions and how to:

1) notice our emotions

2) name and accept our emotions...even the "red" ones

3) pull this week's mantra into our lives playfully with the little people we love.

I challenge you to ask the children in your world like I did this week when I visited a room full or four-year-old pre-schoolers, "Is it okay to feel angry?" and see what they say. Their answer just might surprise you.
